Online Test For Anxiety:
Burns Anxiety Inventory
and Other Anxiety Scales

Looking for an online test for anxiety? There are many options out there. The Burns Anxiety Inventory is an anxiety scale created by Dr. David Burns.

It provides a list of various symptoms and rates your anxiety on a numerical scale. It ranges from 0 to 3. Zero for "not at all" having the symptom to 3- experiencing the symptom "a lot". You add the numbers up at the end and it gives

you your total score.

This and other anxiety assessments by Dr. Burns are copyrighted and can be found in two books that he has published. One is "When Panic Attacks" and the other is "The Feeling Good Handbook" and can both be purchased at Amazon.com.

However, aside of the Burns Anxiety Inventory, there are other tests that can be very helpful in determining your anxiety.

Remember that only a doctor can diagnose you with an anxiety disorder, so taking any online test for anxiety should just be for educational purposes.

I know it´s not easy. I have been dealing with anxiety every since I was 15 years old. At the time, I truly thought I was losing my mind. But the culprit was anxiety. Taking an anxiety test can at least take the mystery out of the anxiety. That in itself has a calming effect and can help you to relax and focus on getting you some help.

If you are not sure what type of anxiety disorder you have, you can review this brief summary of the different types of anxiety disorders.

I truly hope these tests below will help you analyze your symptoms and at least point you in the right direction.
